I was born in Jiangsu province, PRC, 1974. In 1995, I received the BS degree in the Department of Astronomy, Nanjing University. Then, I joined Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO), CAS. After obtaining a Ph.D. degree in 2002 from SHAO, I worked in Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute as a postdoctoral fellow (2002 - 2003). In 2010, I visited University of California, Santa Barbara as a visiting scholar (2010 – 2011). Since 2011, I became a research professor in SHAO.
I have published over 70 SCI papers, mostly on ApJ, MNRAS, AJ, and A&A Journals.

Current Interests:
My current research interest is active galactic nuclei, including the formation and evolution of supermassive black holes, central engine, the radiation, structure and evolution, and the multi-wavelength observations, especially the quasar science based on SDSS-IV, and radio VLBI observations.
